Grow Taller by Performing These Free Exercises
By Yan Lii

There are tons of stretching exercises designed for height increasing. I want to introduce you to some basic stretching exercises that will help you grow taller even after puberty.

First Exercise - Hanging:
This exercise requires a pole from which you can hang down. Basically you need to hold on to the pole, relax completely and just hang. You might want to put some weights around your waist but always be careful not to harm your self and not to use heavy weights. You can change grips during this exercise until you feel the right “stretch”. If you use a wider grip, you will develop wider shoulders, which look good on males. Try tensing the back muscles to feel the difference. This exercise requires you to find the sweet-spot where you feel that your back, arms, legs and body in general is stretching to maximum. Do this exercises for at least 30 minutes a week. I recommend it doing daily for a couple of minutes. Better do more frequent but shorter exercises than do it only once but for a long time.

Third Exercise - Bridge:
Bridge can be done in different ways, but it is basically a back stretching exercise. Some flexible people can perform this exercise from standing position while others need to lie on their backs first and put their arms on the floor besides their legs, then lifting pelvis and abs towards the ceiling. Do this if you are not flexible to do the full bridge which is when you put your arms behind your back and lift your body fully with only legs and hands holding you. You can also do bridge while lying on stomach and using hands to raise your torso and stretch your back while your legs remain on the floor. Try them out for yourself, you will see which one fits you better.

Second Exercise - Leg Stretch:
You will need a chair for this exercise. It is performed by standing at the back of the chair and holding on to backrest. Then you need to thrust your leg backwards while keeping a straight spine and stretching the leg as far as possible without injuring yourself. When finished with one leg, proceed to do the exercise with the other. You might want to warm up a little before this exercise because it is something your body hasn’t used to be doing and you might injure yourself if performing these exercise with full force and without warm-up.

Remember, that for these exercises to work and really make you grow taller, you must do them regularly. Apart from increasing height these exercises will help you improve your posture and also make you more flexible.

The Choice is Yours - What Kind of Life Do You Want?

The Choice is Yours - What Kind of Life Do You Want?
By Brian Pray

I love the movie “The Matrix”. People who know me are actually a little surprised by this because I am not the biggest Sci-Fi fan. Maybe, just maybe the reason that I like the movie so much is because I don’t necessarily believe that it is Science Fiction.
Okay, okay before I lose you, let me explain…

I get that it is a Sci-Fi film and that we are not living in a world that is some virtual reality created by a society of super computers. However, if you think about it, “The Matrix” is about life and not one so dissimilar to one we are living right now.

I am not going to take you through the entire story here, but for me to make my point I must give a little back-story so those who haven’t seen it can follow.

Thomas Anderson is every man/woman just plugging along through the drudgery that is corporate life. But, he is unsatisfied with life and is looking for more. So, he lives a secret, underground life as a hacker (using the alias “Neo”) and ultimately searches for the meaning of “The Matrix”.

Soon he is introduced to Morpheus, the leader of a rebellious group of truth seekers. Morpheus presents Neo with a choice; take the RED pill and discover the truth about life- the truth about the Matrix or pick the BLUE pill and forget everything he has already learned about the truth and return to his ordinary life as a computer programmer.

Neo chooses the truth and consumes the RED pill. When he wakes he is startled to find out that the world he was living in was nothing more than a virtual world created by intelligent machines. He wasn’t really living at all.

There is much, much more to the story but this is all that is required for this article.

So, how does this relate to the world we live in? Well, here it is: whether you know it or not, we all have a very similar choice that we can make. We can choose to learn the truth or we can continue to march along like ants, following the pack back-and-forth, living lives that are less than desirable just because it is what our upbringing and conditioning have taught us.

The sad truth is that most people don’t even know that they have a choice.

For years we have been told that the “right” thing to do is to go to school and get a safe and secure job. Now these aren’t necessarily our beliefs but beliefs that have been forced upon us from a very young age. Well let’s stop for a minute, take a step back and think where these were born. These beliefs may have made sense when our parents or grandparents were young but here’s a news flash- THINGS HAVE CHANGED, and the fact that we are still living our lives as if we are still in the Industrial Age just doesn’t make sense.

No, we are knee-deep in the Information Age and things couldn’t be more exciting. There are new opportunities for ordinary people to make their mark, live the lives they deserve and earn an income that equates to their worth as opposed to some arbitrary figure that an employer values for a job. Let’s not even mention the fact that the “safe and secure” job in the 21st century is anything but safe and secure. (How many people do you know who have been “outsourced” or “downsized”?)

All of this is possible for anyone. Let me say that again: ALL OF THIS IS POSSIBLE FOR ANYONE- provided they want to know the truth about what is possible.

Are you tired of being a lemming? Are you ready for the truth? Do you want the RED pill? Or, are you just going to stay the course and live someone else’s vision of what your life should be? Make the decision and take action - you deserve it!

Three Important Questions - What to Ask Yourself When Making an Important Life Decision

Three Important Questions - What to Ask Yourself When Making an Important Life Decision
By Rachelle Disbennett-Lee

As a coach, I don’t have the answers. What I do have are the questions. Questions are powerful tools we can use to create a deeper awareness and shift perspective. Often, when asked a question, you will stop to think about the situation in ways you have never done before. There are times when I ask my clients a question and they reply with something like “I have never thought of it that way before,” or “No one has ever asked me that.” Questions can be provocative and create an awareness you might not have had before. I found that to be true for myself when I was trying to make a business decision. Coaching myself by asking three important questions allows me to make a thoughtful decision.

I was perplexed about what to do with a difficult business decision. I remember reading the book, The Power of Focus, by Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen and Les Hewitt. I pulled it off the shelf, laid it on my desk, and it opened to page 128. There in the middle of the page in bold black letters were the words, “The Three Big Questions.” I read the section and was struck by the simplicity and the power of the words. The section explained how Warren Buffet, the financial guru, decided whether or not he would have dealings with a company or with an individual. He first asked himself three questions:

Do I like them?
Do I trust them?
Do I respect them?

“If any one of these questions results in a ‘no’ the deal is off.” I decided that if this process was good enough for Warren Buffet, it was good enough for me. I asked myself the three questions. The answer to two of the questions were no and the deal was off. Asking the questions made me realize how important relationships are to me, and that I have to like, trust, and respect the people in my life regardless of how profitable or beneficial the deal might seem.

These questions can be used in many situations, not just business. As the book points out, “Why would you choose to build relationships with people you don’t trust, don’t respect or don’t like?” It is a good question. “There are lots of excellent people out there to enjoy your valuable time with. So whether it’s marriage, a business partner or hiring a sales team, choosing the right people is critically important to your future health and wealth.”

Okay! You are going to say there are certain people that have to be in your life. No, there isn’t; but I will give you that there are people that are somehow connected to you and will show up where you are from time to time. For those people, you need to avoid them or limit contact. You can be respectful when in their presence, but they don’t have to be in your life. Disconnect emotionally from them and you might notice that their presence will have little or no effect on you.

Who you spend time with will determine what kind of life you have. Allowing people into your life that you don’t like, don’t trust or don’t respect is bound to be disappointing even disastrous. I used to think I had to put up with certain people; after all, don’t we have to like and be nice to everyone? No! Actually we don’t. Be respectful yes, but that is all. We don’t have to invite them into our lives or try to build a relationship with them. I have created boundaries and standards where I simply don’t allow people I don’t like, don’t respect or don’t trust into my life. Since I have set these boundaries, it is amazing who has shown up in my life. I now have the most amazing people around me.

Do the Dishes - Connecting With the Simple Pleasures of Life

Do the Dishes - Connecting With the Simple Pleasures of Life
By Rachelle Disbennett-Lee

One of the chores I had to do, actually the only chore I had to do when I was a kid, was wash the dishes. For years I washed the dishes by hand as we didn’t have a dishwasher. I can remember complaining about my difficult lot in life. It seemed like such a hard task. Now that I am an adult and have a dishwasher I don’t have to worry about doing the dishes by hand. However, due to a dishwasher malfunction, I am realizing how much I have been missing.

My dishwasher began leaking so I had to stop using it for a couple of days. This sent me into a panic because I wasn’t sure what I would do about the dirty dishes. I thought about using paper plates, but that didn’t seem like an earth friendly option. I also considered eating out for all three meals, but that didn’t seem like a waist friendly option. So, I decided to do the unthinkable and wash the dishes by hand. At first this sent me into a panic because it has been years since I have washed a dish. I wondered if I could get the dishes clean enough, or if it would take all. Once I began the project all my fears subsided and I got a nice surprise.

I found washing the dishes to be calming. It wasn’t something I could rush through and there wasn’t anything else I could do but wash the dishes. I had to slow down, focus and be present. As I was washing the dishes a flood of memories came rushing back to me of my Grandmother teaching me to wash dishes. She always told me that a blind person could get the dishes clean because they would feel the dish. She always made me run my hand over each dish I washed so I could feel if there was anything still stuck it. I also have memories of gatherings where, after the meal, all of the women gathered in the kitchen to do the dishes, talk and laugh. As I washed the dishes, I realized it was actually an enjoyable task, I felt like I was accomplishing something and I could wash the dishes in less time than it took the dishwasher to go through a cycle.

Not that I am going to start washing the dishes by hand every day, but I will start washing them on occasion. I found that doing this simple task actually was pleasurable and it helped me reconnect and relax. Simple tasks can do that. Not that you have to start reverting back to doing everything manually, just once in a while do a simple task the old fashion way. Sweep the floor instead of using the vacuum or write a letter instead of typing it out on the computer. When you do a task manually, it will help to slow you down and allow you time just to be.

Who knew that doing the dishes manually was such a simple pleasure? I believe the trick to this is to slow down and be present with what you are doing. So often we are multitasking and not paying attention. You don’t focus because you can’t focus. Practice doing one thing at a time and doing it to the best of your ability. This will force you to slow down and pay attention. You will be surprised at how refreshing this can be.

Health, Money and Free-Time Wisdom Tips

Health, Money and Free-Time Wisdom Tips
By Harry R. G. Becker

GOOD HEALTH TIPS.

To live a long and healthy life the first step is to eat right. Here is what that means in 2 short sentences. First, eat all the fresh vegetables that you want, as often as you want each day. Second, eat all the fresh fruits that you want, as often as you want each day. That’s it, period! Any deviation from this is heading you away from living a long and healthy life. Notice that cooking your fruits and vegetables was not mentioned because cooking kills most of the valuable nutrients that they contain. If you want more protein for your body, eat more Broccoli. Broccoli also has as much or more protein as steak.

Three bananas, two apples, one orange, and several handfuls of red or grape colored grapes (not green) will easily get you through middle morning, lunch, and middle afternoon meals.

Here is a great healthy breakfast idea. Blend one cup of old fashioned rolled oats with one banana or one apple, or some grapes until totally smooth, then drink it all. Add more filtered water for thinner consistency. That’s it.

Make your healthy lunch and take it to work. This way, you control what you eat, not a restaurant.

WISDOM TIPS.

Choose your friends and associates wisely. You become like those you associate with. If they have good character traits, those will rub off on you. If they have bad character traits, those will also rub off on you. Studies show that our incomes tend to equal the average incomes of our five best friends or closest associates.

Refrain totally from discussing with others what you want to forget. Not doing so simply allows you to refresh those negative events in your mind making them just that much more difficult to forget. It is a form of complaining. Complaining is like rocking in a rocking chair. It give you something to do but it does not get you anywhere!

Make a list, one hour before you go to bed every night, of the top six things that you want to achieve tomorrow. Why? First of all, it will give you direction and purpose as you start each day instead of thinking of things that you should do. By making the list before you go to bed each night, your brain can work all night while you sleep to come up with great ideas as how you can best achieve those items. Once you start doing this (try it for 30 days) you will not believe the great results that you will get. It’s a great step in working smarter rather than harder. Also, remember to check off each item on the list as you successfully complete it. These mini successes are huge self portrait and self confidence builders.

WEALTH TIPS.

As soon as possible, like right now, start working each day on achieving your dreams instead of the dreams of your boss. How? Make a list of the top 3 things that you really want that affordability is keeping you from having. Next, start your own, fun to run, Online, home-based business. Part Time, Full Time. Not only will this be a fun lifetime experience but the icing on the cake will be the wonderful tax advantages you will qualify for.

Lastly, decide that you are going to take action right now to do what it takes to turn your dreams into realities. Believe and expect, every second of every day for the rest of your life, that they are already becoming realities. If you need lots more money and free time to enjoy it, and if you do not already have your own Online home-based business, get an outstanding one right away. Put your pride on a shelf because you cannot do everything in life by yourself. Ask and you will receive the help that you need. Remember, beginning is half done.

God bless you with an overflowing abundance of good health, love, happiness, success, prosperity, and a bright new future and lifestyle that you will allow yourself to have.
