The 4 Tips For the Burn-Out and Frustrated Online Entrepreneur
By Carol Debra Oon

Oh, I am a burn-out online entrepreneur”, you say. So, what’s the cure?

To be a successful online network marketer does not seem easy. It doesn’t have to be difficult. What an online network marketer needs is to be very focussed in what he wants to achieve in his online business. The more simple your focus or goal is, the better it is to concentrate on. So, what’s the key problem of the burn-out or frustrated online entrepreneur? The fact is we are always doing “many things” at one time.

By being very focussed in just one online business at a time will help you to crystallise your mind and concentrate on what is important for the success of your online business. By doing that, you can always expand into more income streams when you are ready.

Here’s the 4 tips for the burn-out and frustrated online entrepreneur :

1) Work on your daily schedule for at least 90 minutes, that is, any daily activities that will drive traffic to your website or blog on a consistent basis. Take a break and relax with your favourite activities at home; and go back to do the schedule again until you have finished the day’s work.

2) Know what are your limits. If you a 800 cc. car, don’t run like a 2,000 cc car. For example, if you have some advertising budget, let’s say $200 monthly, then do with the $200 that you have. You must use your funds and what you have within your means. This will reduce your stress level.

3) Most online network marketers burn-out easily because they have very unrealistic expectations. Are you a believer in online “overnight” riches? You need to know the facts. If you are just starting out on your first online affiliate business, don’t expect to earn thousands in your first week. This is an unrealistic expectation.

4) Positive thinking people produce positive results. So, be positive. Tell yourself you can overcome this, you are capable to do this or that. Positive people are tough minded and refuse to get defeated easily. So be a positive online internet marketer!

So, that’s it, the 4 simple tips which may help you not to be a burn-out or frustrated entrepreneur. It works very well with me all the time. And I hope it will help you too! You remember the old saying, “Today is the first day of the rest of your life” is very true. So, make each available day to do your very best persistently and consistently as each day you are alive is definitely a great gift from the Supreme Being.

Home-Based Marketing and Sales Success - A Creative Solution

Home-Based Marketing and Sales Success - A Creative Solution
By Alan H. Jordan

You’re in business. You’ve invested money in a home-based business like Creative Memories, Watkins or Kaire International. You like what you’re doing. You’ve bought product, and you’re sponsoring parties. The only problem is that you’re not making enough money. Why? You’ve exhausted your natural market. That is you’ve already contacted all of your friends and family, and those who are interested have bought. Very simply put, you need: (1) a way to motivate your current customer base to buy a lot more; or (2) a wide variety of additional prospects, or (3) ideally, both.

You’ve read articles on generating referrals, but you want more. You want a way to get people that you don’t know to come to your parties. Let’s say you’re a Creative Memories representative. Your goal is to get more folks to your parties and help them to scrapbook. How’s this for a creative solution? Locate a product or service that complements your current business, a product or service that gives you a new reason to contact people, a product or service that can provide additional revenue streams. “Easier said than done,” you say. True, you’ll need to do some research. I suggest that you seek out these characteristics.

  • A newsworthy product or service - something about which articles are being written every day, such as literacy or creative ways to help children to do better in school. - This enables you to get publicity, and that means that people whom you’ve never spoken with will come to a meeting. (Hint: Emotional issues are often newsworthy.)
  • A complementary characteristic - For example, mothers who scrapbook are often interested in helping their children to read better.
  • Joint marketing via workshop potential - A product or service that will motivate venues such as restaurants to help you by telling people about workshops that are held in their establishment. If the product is newsworthy, many restaurants will put up a poster announcing the workshop you’re holding in their establishment. They may also put a small insert into the Guest Check presenters that patrons use when they pay their bill with a credit card or cash. (You keep the sales, they keep the food/drink revenue. It’s a good marriage.) Hint: If you can get people in the door during a normally slow time of day, the venue will be much more open to helping you succeed.
  • Nominal entry costs - you need to get more out of your current investment, investing a lot of money in another product is almost certain to undermine your current focus. Ideally, this would include free marketing materials and support.

Now that you’ve done your homework, and you’ve found the right product or service, here are step-by-step suggestions for your success:

  1. Find a manager or owner of a venue who will work with you to hold a workshop. Provide them with the marketing materials that will help them help you. If you eat out regularly, simply approach the owners or managers of establishments where you are a regular.
  2. Prepare a press release (you may be able to adapt one that is provided by the company with the new product.) Be sure to stress the issue that is being addressed, not the product that is being sold. Before you send out the press release, ask the venue’s manager for his or her opinion. They are likely to suggest one or two ways to improve it, and it will get them involved in your mutual success. What business owner does not want free positive publicity? Now, send it out.
  3. Follow up with the press to see if they want to do an article on you, based on the press release.
  4. Contact your current customers and invite them to a workshop where the problem will be addressed (e.g. helping young children learn to read) and a solution will be presented. Tell them about the article that you expect to be published. Invite them to meet you at the venue. Briefly explain the synergy between your current product and the additional one.
  5. During the presentation, offer the solution you’ve suggested. At the very end, also hand out your traditional product literature.
  6. Reiterate the value of the solutions you offer, and ask for referrals. You can do this easily, by asking people to suggest others who might want to attend a follow-up meeting in the venue.
  7. After the meeting, show the venue manager that you’ve received a list of people to invite to your next workshop there, and ask for his or help in getting more people into the establishment.

A word of caution: Make certain that you can explain the synergism between your current product and new line in fifteen seconds or less. If you select your product or service wisely and are enthused by the synergy with your existing product or service, you will energize your current customer base, and attract many new customers.

Why Data Entry Jobs Are Not Typing Jobs

Why Data Entry Jobs Are Not Typing Jobs
By Leva Duell

Can you really make thousands of dollars every month processing data entry from home? Data entry work is not typing work. Find out what you’ll get.

Data entry scams are represented as home typing jobs. Here’s what they promise you: Choose a product provided in their database, type a short ad promoting that product, and submit that ad. The companies selling these products will then pay you for simply typing a short ad describing their product.

Stay away from anything that has to do with filling out forms to make money. They are not real typing jobs.

Here’s what you get: Most of these so called data entry jobs are affiliate programs. You will not get paid for each form you fill out. You only get paid when you sell products.

Have you noticed that when visiting these web sites, you’ll find similar pictures and income statements? Images of the income statements don’t prove anything. Photoshop can do a great job at changing numbers and creating pictures in front of an expensive mansion, car and boat.

What they don’t tell you: You will be typing ads and you will spend advertising fees. You will be entering data into forms to create Google ads, Yahoo ads and other search engines to promote affiliate products. Each time someone clicks on your ad through those search engines, you’ll have to pay a fee, even if the click through does not result in a sale.

How about “typing classified advertisements into online forms”? How do you get paid for those?

Similar to the data entry work, you will get a commission when someone buys the products you advertise from ads. Instead of paying advertising, you can post a large amount of free classified ads. You’ll spend your time instead of money to promote of the affiliate programs.

There is nothing wrong with promoting affiliate programs but they should not be presented as home typing jobs. And affiliate marketing is not as easy as these promoters make it sound.

You will not get paid to fill out forms online. Those are not real typing jobs.

You will not be paid hourly or by project. You will spend advertising fees and will be typing ads to promote affiliate products.

Who are the companies you’ll work for?

First, you’ll become a member of one or more affiliate networks such as Clickbank or other specialized affiliate directories. You don’t need to join a data entry site to become an affiliate. The companies listed in those directories want you to sell their products as an affiliate. The next step is to select products you want to promote. Then, you’ll create an affiliate link. Next, you should research keywords. You should get a domain name and a web site. Then, you’ll sign up for a Google account ($50), create ads, enter keywords related to the product you’re selling, and you’ll put your affiliate link in the advertising.

In short, you can make money with affiliate promotion but there is a steep learning curve involved. And there is a lot more to it than putting data in forms and buying a data entry job book.

Although promoting affiliate programs is attractive to many people, making money with affiliate programs is NOT easy and there is a steep learning curve.

Avoid data entry scams. Real data entry work is hard to come by. Typing addresses and printing out labels is usually done by specialized mailing houses who have specialized equipment.

If you want to promote affiliate programs, buy specialized books about affiliate marketing and Google Adwords. But if you are looking for home typing work, avoid the “filling out forms” type of typing work and data entry jobs.

Quick Cash From Old Cell Phones - Your Own Business

Quick Cash From Old Cell Phones - Your Own Business
By Graham Walsham

Make some fast cash, that old cell phone tucked away in a drawer can make you money and so can the millions of others tucked away in other people’s drawers and cupboards.

When you’ve read this article, try it out with your old cell phones to give you an idea of how easy it is to make money with them. You will also be doing your bit for the environment. Old cell phones and their batteries pose a great threat, they contain toxic substances that can poison the land and get into water supplies. They should NEVER be thrown out with the trash.

If you look online, you will find plenty of companies who will purchase old mobile phones but there are certain requirements. To get the best price the old phone should be in working order and have a charger.

If the phone is old you may have to try various companies, not all will accept it, others will accept but pay a low price the same goes for 3G. It won’t cost you anything to check out online and you can build a buyers list of who buys what.If the battery is dead, it could be worth replacing it to get a better price. Some buyers will pay the postage and supply packaging.

HOW TO GET THE BEST PRICE FOR YOUR PHONES

In part two of this article you will find out how to get regular supplies of old cell phones for free but to get the best prices to sell at go to Google and enter something like “Cash for old cell phones” or similar search term. You will see plenty of companies listed who buy phones for cash.

Try various buyers to see which offer the best deal. You enter the make and model into fields on the site and a price is displayed for the phone.

Make a note of the prices each company offers and whether or not they pay the postage. Then select the company that offers you the best deal.

They won’t usually accept responsibility if a phone gets lost in the mail so you can insure it or take the risk. As the phones won’t have cost you anything - you might want to take the risk.

When you send the phones, make sure the battery is charged. Remove any security pin codes by using the ‘reset factory settings’ option. Switch off the phone and remove the Sim card.

When the buyer receives your phone, if they think it is not worth the full value (it might look rough for instance) they will offer you a lower price that you can either accept or decline. If you decline they should return the phone to you postage paid.

Some companies will pay for non-working phones. It won’t be a lot but at least the phone will be taken off your hands and processed safely. You can find more free info about cashing in on old cell phones in part two of this article at: http://www.smarterwork.info/cellcash
